London Enterprise Adviser Network

Calling all Sutton business leaders!
Help give Sutton’s young people the careers advice they need!
Sutton Council is pleased to be working with employment specialists Reed in Partnership to
deliver an initiative that connects students with business leaders in
order to boost their future Prospects.
Businesses are being invited to get involved with LEAN – the London Enterprise Adviser
Network – to support local regeneration and ensure that Sutton’s young people have
opportunities to learn about the world of work through a comprehensive and quality careers
Provision.

Why the Enterprise Adviser Network is important?
Did you know that 66% of businesses want to recruit people with work experience, yet only
38% offer it? Or that a huge 82% of teachers think that better careers and business
guidance is needed in schools?
LEAN is looking for senior business employees who are willing to volunteer a small amount
of their time to become an Enterprise Adviser (EA).
As an EA, you will work with a school or college’s Careers Leader to create links with
business so that students have access to relevant and impactful careers advice. You’ll help
the school to develop a careers support plan to help students to make informed decisions
about their future.
Reed in Partnership’s team of Enterprise Coordinators will provide you with specialist
training and offer you continued support in your role.
Businesses who are interested in joining the London Enterprise Adviser Network can find out
more and register here.

The London Enterprise Adviser Network is funded by the Careers & Enterprise Company
and the Greater London Authority.
In Central, South & West London the Network is delivered by Reed in Partnership on behalf
of Team London, the Mayor of London’s volunteering team, and the Careers & Enterprise
Company.
